6th Grade Assistant Principal

Dear East Middle Families,

I am one of the two Assistant Principals here at Central Dauphin East Middle School. As a CD East alumnus, it is an amazing and beyond blessed feeling to be welcomed back to the same building where I once sat. I am eager to begin making a difference in not just your learner's life, but with the community.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with a concentration in Secondary Mathematics, from Pennsylvania State University at Harrisburg, my Master of Education in Mathematics is from James Madison University, and my administrative certificate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Each degree represents a significant milestone in my continuous learning journey.

Over the last eight years, my educational career path has ranged from teaching in urban settings to rural settings: Lower Dauphin High School, Dauphin County Technical School, Camp Curtin Academy, and my most recent placement, Susquehanna Township High School. My time at Susquehanna Township HS started my yearn for more administrative responsibilities and duties, especially with my experience coaching the softball and women's soccer teams.

My goal as your learner's Assistant Principal is not only to ensure a rich educational experience and academic excellence, but for them to know school is a safe environment where they will be able to build strong life-long relationships with their peers, mentors, and staff. Knowing CD East Middle School homes a diverse community, my goal is to ensure we always remember to embrace and affirm our diverse backgrounds by growing our inclusive and accommodative school environment.

I look forward to helping create those memories with your learner and feel honored to be their Assistant Principal. I welcome any communication in hopes to make the most with your time at CD East Middle.
