Hi East families!

 

My name is Jim Hale and I am the new principal here at Central Dauphin East Middle School. It’s great to be a part of the Central Dauphin School District and have the opportunity to work with the families and students that are part of the communities that make up this district. I’m excited to work with an outstanding team of individuals at East Middle School, and I know together we are going to accomplish many great things along our journey together.

 

Before joining our East family, I’ve been a part of district teams during my career that have taken pride in being student centered. I started my career in the Steelton-Highspire School District where I was a 4^th and 6^th grade teacher. During this time, I had the opportunity to serve as the district supply coordinator, AV coordinator, grade level coordinator and mentor to first year teachers. Additionally, I’m proud that I was able to start my administrative career there where I was an assistant principal, and later principal of the elementary school. After 11 school years serving the students and families of Steelton and Highspire, I chose to work with educational professionals in the Manheim Central and Palmyra school districts. Most recently, I was an administrator at the high school in the Mechanicsburg Area School District.
